Maralal High School actively participates in the annual Kenya Science and Engineering Fair (KSEF), a prestigious platform where students showcase their creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Our learners present projects across various categories, including applied sciences, robotics, environmental conservation, engineering design, and energy solutions. These projects are developed in line with the Competency-Based Education (CBE) approach, encouraging practical application of classroom knowledge to real-world challenges. Over the years, Maralal High School has earned recognition at sub-county, county, regional, and national levels for its ingenuity and excellence in research and innovation. Volleyball is one of Maralal High School flagship sports, deeply rooted in our tradition and identity. Known for producing disciplined, resilient, and skilled players, our volleyball program is a cornerstone of the school’s sporting excellence. Maralal High School competes at sub-county, county, regional, and national levels consistently earning respect on and off the field. Our players are trained not only in technical skills and physical fitness but also in teamwork, strategy, and sportsmanship—values that align with our school motto, “Knowledge and skills for empowerment”. The school has a proud history of contributing talented athletes to club and national teams, further cementing its place as a volleyball powerhouse in Samburu County and beyond. Regular training sessions, competitive fixtures, and participation in tournaments ensure that our players are constantly challenged and inspired to excel.
